Whiskey Town Lake is pumping out limits of chrome Kokanee!!
It’s early and we are bagging daily limits of big early season fish up to 17.5 inches!
The water is cold and fish are coming from the surface in the morning down to 50 feet in later morning and afternoon.
Remember to fish long set backs when fishing the surface down to 20 feet.
Later in the day, as the sun warms the surface, 30 and 50 foot depths have been very consistent.
I fish exclusively Paulina Peak Tackle. Their Orange Micro Shrimp as well as their Chartreuse Micro Shrimp have been solid producers. As always their Pink Micro Hoochies and Cotton Candy Big Eye Doger are a go-to fish killers. Its looking like a great summer ahead with really good Kokanee fishing to look forward to.
Take a break and get out on the water with me for some real social distancing!
